Do you really understand glowing pigment ?

Last week, a customer sent us two samples of luminous powder, wanting us to test them and see if we can match the corresponding pigments because the customer is a very large processing plant, specifically for some famous big brands, their luminous powder is mainly used in shoe material or fabrics. The main problem now is that the samples provided by existing suppliers bring them the following problems:

1. The existing luminous powder has the problem of poor stability

2. The luminous time of the existing luminous powder cannot reach the effect that the customer wants

3. The viscosity of the existing luminous powder in the customer's solvent is not good enough.

So after the test, we found the following problems with the powder used by the customer:

1. If the luminous powder used in clothing and shoes needs to be waterproof because the customer is also using water-based base material to prepare, but we tested one of the red luminous powder does not have waterproof properties

2. We tested that the luminous powder of another color has waterproof treatment, but the PH value is detected to be alkaline. This will easily cause the luminous powder to be prone to hydrolysis in the water-based substrate, and it is prone to these problems that customers reacted to.

3. The luminous effect is not strong, and the luminous time is short.

Therefore, if you want to make a long-term stable big order, it would be a great help if you have a certain understanding of luminous powder.
